We both knew it was our celebration of 10 amazing happy years together, I think it was a case of who would shout about it first. As the evening drew in we took our usual bath together and perhaps we would go out for a meal. Although I must be honest the absence of a card was starting to perplex me! The next thing.... well this is how it went. Bruce reaches across and holds up a ring box (Oh my god, Oh my god this is it I thought. Stay clam, stay calm, dont scream!) But i think the look on my face said it all. Bruce - "Ummm I got you this but, ummm, well I got you this, here you go" Michelle (Opens the ring box and loves it) "its lovely, thank you, its beautiiful" Michelle n Bruce sit and stare at each other for a while... Bath continues..... Michelle gets out of the bath "Is this an engagement ring?" Bruce looks pale, clammy and a little panicky! The reply "umm well not exactly" Michelle - "Oh ok" (Big Grin) Michelle 2 mins later - "Would it be ok if I wore it on that finger though?" Bruce - (Big grin) Yeah of course it is. I have never seen you look so panicked, lost for words and pale in all our life together. Talk about snooker yourself! A gorgeous ring, that you chose for me,thank you for taking it to be resized for me so I could wear it "On that finger" I will keep it with me always - Thank you Monkey xxx
